Rutland County Council ask residents to Sign up for E-billing

Ebilling Picture Anybody who pays Council Tax or Business Rates to Rutland County Council is being urged to sign up for e-billing. Nearly 700 people have already signed up for the FREE service which saves the council money, and allows you to receive an electronic bill and view your account online.
Anybody who pays council tax or business rates in Rutland can sign-up for e-billing by sending an email to localtaxation@rutland.gov.uk stating their name, account number/property address.
Advantages of e-billing include:
  • It’s faster
  • It saves paper
  • It saves on postage costs
  • It reduces paper and printing costs
  • You can view it anytime
  • It’s better for the environment; and
  • It reduces the amount of paperwork you have to deal with
Sign up for Rutland E-Billing

Email Rutland County Council at localtaxation@rutland.gov.uk stating:
  • your name;
  • Council Tax or Business Rate account number or property address; and
  • email address for e-billing (if different to the one you are emailing from)
You will then receive your bills electronically with a link to the Rutland County Council website, so you can still access information usually included with a paper bill.

Please remember to notify us if you have signed up for e-billing and then change your email address.
