To ask the Secretary of State for International Development
what strategic or transitional risk registers in each area of policy
are held by his Department; and if he will make a statement.

DFID
manage risk through a hierarchy of risk registers. Strategic risks are
managed via a board level corporate risk register. This is supported by
tactical level risk registers which are-produced for all DFID
departments as part of the operational planning process. At project
level, risk registers are produced in accordance with DFID's business
case process.
