I was shocked to read the following blog post about the beloved Tesco Cat http://roys-blog-moments-in-time.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/tescos-cat.html
When I visited the store today staff told me the cat was alive, but maybe not that well.
The owner of the cat and many customers were very sad to read about the death of the cat.
The cat is alive and resting at home.Tesco staff say they have contributed to the vet bills
Rather sad news the Cat known locally as the Tesco Cat has died.
I agree with all Roy says:
I know a lot of people will be saddened by this news. Many people in the area have made friends with the cat, stroked her and fed her over the years. The cat really did make shopping more human and brought a smile to lots of shoppers. I hope all that met the cat have happy memories of her, like I do myself.
