CPS Dropped remaining two charges, its good news the CPS were not happy with Leicester Police File

CPS dropped remaining two charges, its good news the CPS were not happy with Leicester Police File

Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

Good News, The CPS has dropped all charges brought by Leicestershire Police. The CPS were not happy with the police file. They dropped the charges stating lack of evidence.

A lot of public money has been wasted by the police in support of local governance whose sole aim is to close this blog.

I understand there are at least eight bullies out there who won't be happy with the outcome.

My view of the self selected elite Oakham Town Council won't change until we get a council that does not cost 80% of its income to run, I won't shut up because they tell me to do so.

Cllr Charles Haworth illegal parking and abusive to member of public after his dogs attack a dog in Cutts Close Oakham

Cllr Charles Haworth illegal parking and abusive to member of public after his dogs attack a dog in Cutts Close Oakham

I decided to pop out for a quiet walk in the park on this nice evening.

I spotted the car above illegally parked full of rubbish and 70s Disco CD's on the dash. I took the photograph not knowing it was one of Oakham Town Councillor Charles Haworth's cars.

There has been a problem recently, young drivers using the park with scooters and cars annoying local residents. So I was somewhat surprised to find this car belongs to a Councillor, but then as I have pointed out many times in the past rules clearly don't apply to our local councillors.

Any way I continued on walking and noticed a large man with two dogs out of control attacking another dog. The large man  as got closer, I recognised as Cllr Haworth he was shouting  abuse at the man, when he should have been saying sorry for his dogs behaviour.  He dragged his dogs of to his car accusing the man
of stalking him, Now where have I heard that before? There is clearly something wrong with the Councillor and for some reason he is protected from the law, by the local  law enforcers.

I spoke to the man he was very visibly shaken by the incident. I told him the gentleman was his local councillor. And he was typical of what one can expect from the thugs who run our town.

At first he did not believe I was telling the truth, how could a man so rude be a councillor? A good question I thought. I have been asking that same question for the last 2 years or more. Any time Mr  Haworth opens his mouth to me it inevitably results in him using a vocabulary and diction used by the vilest of thugs.

Cllr Haworth has also been illegally fly posting the town, I do hope he has read his friends, Cllr Lucas article in the Rutland Times, she is very critical about fly posters spoiling out town and county.

I wonder how much longer the town has to suffer this man who is permitted to lie to the police and continually be rude to anyone that pleases him.

What I witnessed was disgraceful and bullying behaviour tonight. I now wait for Leicestershire Constabulary to charge me with photographing the Councillors Car in a public place without its consent.

It should not be forgotten none of Oakham Town Councils, Councillors were elected by the people. It is surely time people stood up and disposed of this rubbish.

When you look at the finances of the council and see only around 20% of the tax payers money is spent on things for the benefit of the tax payer ie the residents and 80% is spent on the admin of this self selecting elite club surely the time has arrived to question the need for this councils existence.

I was wondering if we could get rid of a few of our Councillors by using the misrepresentation of people act?

Police have been handed ‘Chinese-style’ powers to enter private homes and seize political posters during the London 2012 Olympics.

UKDailyMail
Police have been handed ‘Chinese-style’ powers to enter private homes and seize political posters during the London 2012 Olympics.
Little-noticed measures passed by the Government will allow officers and Olympics officials to enter homes and shops near official venues to confiscate any protest material.
Breaking the rules could land offenders with a fine of up to £20,000.
Civil liberties groups compared the powers to those used by the Communist Chinese government to stop political protest during the 2008 Beijing Games.
Anita Coles, of Liberty, said: ‘Powers of entry should be for fighting crime, not policing poster displays. Didn’t we learn last time that the Olympics should not be about stifling free expression?’
The powers were introduced by the Olympics Act of 2006, passed by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, supposedly to preserve the monopoly of official advertisers on the London 2012 site.
They would allow advertising posters or hoardings placed in shop or home to be removed.
But the law has been drawn so widely that it also includes ‘non-commercial material’ – which could extend its reach to include legitimate campaign literature.
Shadow Home Secretary Chris Grayling said: ‘This is a Government who just doesn’t understand civil liberties. They may claim these powers won’t be used but the frank truth is no one will believe them.’
Liberal Democrat spokesman Chris Huhne said: ‘This sort of police action runs the risk of using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. ‘We should aim to show the Chinese that you can run a successful Olympics without cracking down on protestors and free speech.’
Scotland Yard denied it had any plans to use the powers.
Assistant Commissioner Chris Allison said: ‘We have no intention of using our powers to go in and take down demonstration posters.’
But critics said that – given the powers were now law – it was impossible to predict what would happen in three years time.
Campaigners said the existence of the powers was ‘dreadful’. Peter McNeil, who is against the holding of equestrian events in Greenwich Park said: ‘It’s bullying taken to another level. It’s quite appalling that this should happen in a democracy.’
The power emerged as the Home Office and police outlined the £600million security operation for the Games, which will cost more than £9billion in total.
They said hundreds of flights could have to be diverted every day, with planes prevented from passing over the main venue for the London games.
Olympic security chiefs said they expected to have to ‘manage’ the airspace over the Olympic Park in east London.
