Its so sweet when drivers stop to let rabbits cross the road - and it gives the rest of us the opportunity to practice an emergency stop. — feeling annoyed.

Is this the reason for the Flawed Internal Audit?

In other parts of the country a mistake on this scale would have triggered a police investigation, but not in Rutland, Leicestershire Police "our friends the police" described in an email copied to me, are in the
pockets of this flawed Tory controlled council.

Whilst the police continue to build a case against Councillors and other critics of Rutland County Council
the Tory council is free to do as it pleases.

I agree with others, there are serious flaws throughout this council.

Planning

Finance

Leadership

Management

To name just a few.

All the Councillors who voted, so senior officers who were over paid a huge sum of public money
should resign.

Can you imagine Tory Deputy Leader Terry King letting his employees at his chipboard factory
keep any over payment of any scale? or any of the many Tory Councillors who employ people
I think not.

Public money at Rutland County Council is easy to obtain and easy to squander.

This mistake as the council describes it as should not be ignored. Some one must be responsible
for this continued mismanagement of Rutland County Council

And Leicestershire Police should stop supporting this mob.

Councillors should stop fighting each other and their critics.

I am currently awaiting the external auditors report into Oakham Town Council, I believe
that will contain some very serious comment which they will attempt to keep hidden.

Today's Rutland Times hides this important headline inside, leaving the front page free for publicity of Tory Leader Roger Begys friends beer festival to be held at the Museum later this month.
