This is interesting as only the other week Oakham Town Councils belief that Spire Homes owned
the garages was reconfirmed by Councillor Lucas one of the ward councillor on her and Haworth's ward walk. Shockingly Oakham Town Council has always been pleased to see this blot in the ward, often boasting the issue was caused by the fact they own the land in front of the garages. They hoped to screw as much money as possible out of Spire Homes.
I am pleased to find out Spire Homes wont have to deal with this selfish pointless council. I hope
Rutland County Council can kerb their greedy desire and the residents get the improvement they
deserve and a few people can buy an affordable home.
