4. COUNCILLOR’S QUESTIONS
To answer questions previously notified to the Clerk under Standing Order 8

To receive a report from the Chairman on functions attended and to receive reports
from Members who have attended meetings on behalf of Oakham Town Council
(Members intending to report should inform the Clerk prior to the meeting)

7. DEPUTATIONS BY THE PUBLIC
Members of the Public are invited to address the meeting in accordance with
procedures laid down in Standing Orders 1(d) – 1(i)

8. AUTHORISATION OF BACS PAYMENT (Appendix B)
To agree to authorise payments by BACS of invoices for Grounds Maintenance from
Cory Environmental

9. INTERNAL AUDIT (Appendix C – To follow)
To consider a report from the Internal Auditor and to make any decisions as
appropriate

 
10. AUTHORISATION TO SIGN GRANT APPLICATION FORM TO WREN
To authorise two signatories to the Grant Application to WREN for improvements to
the Willow Crescent Play Area

11. GAOL STREET MURAL PROJECT (Appendix D)
(i) To agree that Oakham Town Council will act as the applicant for any grant
application for the project.
(ii) To agree that Oakham Town Council will also act as the organisation
responsible for the receipt of any external funding and for the paying of any
invoices relating to the project subject to the amount of those invoices not
exceeding the total amount received.

12. REQUEST TO USE CUTTS CLOSE (Appendix E)
To consider a request to use Cutts Close from 30th
 April – 5
th
 May 2014 by Holland’s
Funfair

13. PARKING ISSUES IN OAKHAM (Appendix F)
 To consider a report and to make any decisions as appropriate

14. SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS (Appendix G)
To decide whether to approve the Schedule of Payments for the period
January 1st
 2014 – January 31st
 2014

15. STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS (Appendix H)
 To decide whether to approve the Statement of Accounts to January 31st
 2014

16. PROPOSED SCHEMES FOR OAKHAM SOUTH EAST WARD (Appendix I)
To consider the following proposed schemes for the Ward and to decide whether, in
principle, to support them
 (i) New parking lay by on Stamford Road
(ii) Introduction of Speed Indicator Displays (SIDs) at Swooning Bridge and
Mount Pleasant on Uppingham Road
