It's that time of the year again when the Clerk asks his friendly
contractor to paint all the towns benches.
You might wonder well what's wrong with that?
I have mentioned this years before and the Clerks reason for
not tendering this very lucrative contract and continually awarding
it to his preferred contractor.
"He does not have to tender we split the one job into
more than one job and that means the financial regulations
permit me to authorise the work and payments"
