Oakham Town Council Meeting  Wednesday 6th August 2014 First Public Recording

Public deputations the 3 minute rule was not applied.

Rutland County Councillor Alan Walters 'I am not sure how you make Rutland County Council to take you seriously'

Cllr Stubbs said there has already been a planning sub committee meeting, I am not sure when that
was advertised?

Speaking to the Clerk he informs me the committee met informally and no decisions were made.
The meeting was to plan for future formal. meetings.

Cllr Dewis questioned one of the members of the public, not normally practice.

The planning application to alter the former Oakham Mayors Home is causing quite a issue.
What else would you expect when you mix Rutland Tories with planning?

If the former Mayor was still alive and a member the town council, I am sure they would not
have given the item so much time.

One of the members of the public was even permitted to respond to the councils decisions.
