Oakham Town Council, To Grant Freedom of Entry, To Former Mayor Paul Beeches Preferred Squadron 

Oakham Town Council stuck in the past agreed in principal to grant the freedom of entry into

Oakham to the Squadron who wrote begging the honour last year.

This year the honour went to the preferred choice of Cllr Alf Dewis, not surprising when

you consider his connections to RAF Wittering.

The former Mayor Paul Beeches with made her displeasure known at this years Town meeting.
