If enough new county councillors are elected the dishonest bully, Tory Chief
executive Helen Briggs could be sacked. Many former staff would
welcome that. If she carries on pointing that finger maybe one day

Rutland County Council is holding an event For Prospective Candidates 2015 Elections at Rutland County Council

Are you thinking of standing in the County Council or Parish Council elections on 7th May 2015?

Rutland County Council is offering prospective Parish and County Councillor candidates the chance to learn more about the process of standing for election at a special open event on Tuesday 24 February.

May’s elections could see all 26 of Rutland’s County Council seats contested, along with all Parish Council seats throughout the county.

The open event will be held at the Council’s Catmose offices in Oakham, 6pm on 24th February.

There will be information about the timelines and procedures that need to be followed in order to stand for election, as well as guidance around the nomination process and qualification requirements.

This event is free to attend and open to anyone.
