Oakham Town Council will decide whether to approve the Schedule of Payments for the period February 1st 2015 – February 28th 2015
On Wednesday at 7pm at Victoria Hall Oakham Councillor will consider the above.
Strange really when you consider the money has already been spent.
Certain things jump out the page. Not just the Clerks pay for no work.
It is a shame the Mayor does not take note of the chairman of Rutland County Council
who has refused to use public money to attend civic jollies.
Cllr Jayne Woodcock spent over £200 of tax payer money attending jollies last
month this included one of those events once featured on BBC Inside Out
The Air Ambulance. The other organised by Melton Borough Council.
At recent Oakham Town Council meetings it has been obvious the Mayor has been
disappointed that she has not been invited to attend events. Maybe she should
copy former Mayor Cllr Lucas and write asking for invitations and write complaining
if not invited and she might then get invited for free instead of spending taxpayers
money in this way to justify the irrelevant position she currently holds.
