The police helicopter flying over Oakham last night searching for a missing person.
Leicestershire Police received reports at about 7pm of concerns for a man in his 30s who has gone missing from the Oakham area.
The man is still missing this morning and inquiries are ongoing.
Police have not released any further information at this stage.
