Remembrance Sunday Oakham Parade and Wreath Laying 2015 Photographs

Remembrance Sunday Oakham Parade and Wreath Laying 2015 Photographs

The parade and church service was well attended.

Everything was running late and as I have not learnt all the setting on my camera
yet there are not so many photos as it was getting too dark.

And it was very windy at times.

A parade started in the marketplace to the church service and this was followed
by the wreath laying at the war memorial. There was another parade to the
pub where the Lord Lieutenant took the salute.

The local police sergeant arrested a drink driver, here's hoping they have
finally caught up with the town councillors husband who got away once
before.

After the event we had a complimentary cup of coffee courtesy of Wetherspoons
Pub.

Some people purchased something a little more warming.
