The Prospect of Change at Oakham Town Council Cllr Joyce Lucas Fell ill Cllr Stubbs "I put something in her water"
The item of council restructuring returned to council last night.
When this was originally discussed some month ago at informal
meetings Cllr Lucas stopped attending I feel she did not approve
the proposed changes and this time I agree with her some
of the proposed changes are not a good move or even democratically.
At the start of our consideration of the change of council meeting
structure, Cllr Lucas announced she was not well and was alright
but had to withdraw from the meeting. After she departed Cllr
Stubbs who complains constantly about how unprofessional
our meetings are said he put something in her water. I questioned
this comment and he said it was a joke.
The item was discussed for a long time and eventually once
again deferred.
