Oakham Town Council Phoney Budget Published By Rutland County Council

Oakham Town Council Phoney Budget Published By Rutland County Council

Rutland County Council has to publish each year a break down of Oakham Town Councils
Budget. What is published is not a true budget.

We do not have any planning expenditure and we certainly don't spend £60,200 on parks.
Most of the expenditure for the three small parks is included in the Contracts and Grants
and we have not given grants for a couple of years.

The General Administration of the Council rises every year.

To be honest I don't mind paying for Rutland County Council, Police and Fire Service.

I object to any of my wages going to Oakham Town Council for the Clerk and two members
to decide on how it should be spent.

The bullying Town Council is a disgrace and really needs to get its finances sorted the 15.5% increase
this year is as disgusting as our dishonest Clerk and Mayor Cllr Michael Haley.

For the record I voted against the increase.

How did we get to the position where we now pay more for the pointless parish council than we do for the fire service.
