Wrinkle Rock, Cutts Close, Oakham, Rutland, Oakham Hospital

Today Wrinkle Rock Performed in Cutts Close Oakham

They started late.

It took a while for a small crowd to turn up.

The Town Council admitted fault, due to lack of advertising.

The performance went well.

After the performance the group leader Dom had a chat.

Fortunately a witness was present.

He and the old men were very unhappy about my recent review. Wrinkle Rock a group of loud pensioners who I think could be fuelled by cheap booze will kick of this summers concert series in Cutts Close, Oakham.

A description any true Rock Group would I am sure be proud of, I wonder if Wrinkle Rock would have
preferred it, if I had suggested the indulged in a spot of tea and cakes! Well maybe not. The pensioner bit might not suit some rock bands.

Interestingly the band pointed out that Dom is now a pensioner.

It appears Wrinkle Rock are not loud and most certainly not suitable for a working men's club.

I won't repeat the mention of beer again, as it appears the Rock Group are a very sensitive
bunch.

Dom went on to say his wife is in charge of Oakham hospital and she had seen my comments, and he recommended that I don't fall ill and need treatment in the near future.

It was also noted he claimed to be one of the nicer guys of the group, goodness knows what the others wished upon me.

I would like to think his wife would remain very professional, if I was to require the assistance of the local
health service. But if this was not the case, I am pleased the threat was witnessed and I feel I would have a good case against the authority if anything did go wrong.

Moving onto finance Dom said Oakham Town Council have never paid them any sum near £500 for performing. I have asked Oakham Town Council to explain why their account show payments of this amount.

Press Statement

I am dissapointed another two Oakham Town Councillors have resigned from serving Oakham.

Cllr Alan Kelly. comment: Who is this man?

Cllr Mrs Sue Tyers. Comment: Very disappointed Sue had been working considerably hard with education issues in the town.

I am very keen to work with other members and this work is already underway.

I have asked the members to look into the current situation at Oakham Memorial Hospital.

This will be raised at next the weeks full council meeting held at Victoria Hall.

The public are welcome to attend. From Martin Brookes
