The grand finale to the action packed Summer in the City sees the introduction of a brand new festival celebrating Leicester, right in the heart of the city.

Well-established events such as Leicester Belgrave Mela, Sky Ride, Our Leicester Day and Sports Fest will take place alongside some exciting new events such the Old Town Festival, The End of the Pier Delights beach in Orton Square and Journeys Festival.

The two-day City Festival takes place over various sites across the city centre. Leicester Market, Humberstone & Gallowtree Gate, the Clock Tower, Orton Square, Magazine Square, Newarke Houses Museum, Leicester Castle and Motte and Town Hall Square will all be buzzing with activity for the whole family over the August Bank Holiday.

With lots of free activities including sports, music, art and heritage, the vibrant City Festival offers a fantastic
reason to stay local this Bank Holiday.
